Job Description of Legal Counsel
Company : High Brand Car WFOE in Beijing
Job title : Legal Counsel
Reports to : CEO / CFO
Location : Beijing
Package : Negotiable
Key responsibilities:
l To work with the business development and corporate strategy team and support growth opportunities in North China (mainly Beijing, same as below).
l To provide legal support for business operation and expansion in North China.
l To coordinate with outside legal counsel on the designing and commenting on future deal structures relating to market expansion.
l To draft, prepare, review, comment and finalize major agreements, legal documents etc. relating to the land purchase and equipment purchase.
l To assist the business development and corporate strategy team on the negotiation of relevant contract and agreements relating to business operation and expansion.
l To establish or improve the internal rules concerning corporate governance and financial or accounting reporting, approval or decision-making procedures.
l To bring lawsuits on behalf of or defend for the WFOES in North China
l To perform legal and compliance review on low-risk and high-risk contracts and relating documentation and provide recommendation for approval.
l To provide trainings to employees
l Working on other ad-hoc assignments
Qualifications:
l Excellent education background, solid career track record, automobile sale industry related experience is a plus but not a must
l Admitted to practice of PRC Laws in famous PRC local law firms for more than (5) years or has practice experience in international law firms.
l Relevant connections with governmental agencies such as commerce, land taxation in Beijing is preferred.
l The job requires communication with our Hong Kong and U.S. headquarters on a frequent basis; therefore the candidate must be fluent in English.
